What is Bravehearts Nepal?
Bravehearts Nepal (Sahasi Hridya) is a registered non-governmental, non-profit development organization affiliated with Nepal's Social Welfare Council. Founded in 2016 by Amit Chaulagain in response to the Nepal earthquake, we work across 6 districts to empower children and communities through food support, libraries, scholarships, and skill development.
How can I donate to Bravehearts Nepal?

As of 2025, Bravehearts Nepal has supported 2,800+ children across 6 districts in Nepal through regular food distributions, winter blankets, library access, scholarships, and recreational activities.
Where does Bravehearts Nepal operate?
We operate across 6 districts: Dolakha, Janakpur (Dhanusha), Thali (Kathmandu), Simara-Bara, Makwanpur, and Hetauda. Our headquarters is in Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
How many libraries has Bravehearts Nepal built?
We have built and run 5 fully-functional community libraries — in Dolakha, Janakpur, Thali (Kathmandu), Simara-Bara, and Makwanpur — with a 6th library planned for Hetauda.
Does Bravehearts Nepal offer scholarships?
Yes, we provide full scholarships for Bachelor, BHM (Hotel Management), and IT-level university students. We have sponsored 8+ students. Students receive tuition, materials, and living support.
Is Bravehearts Nepal registered and transparent?
Yes. Bravehearts Nepal is registered under Nepal's NGO Act and is a full member of the Social Welfare Council (SWC Nepal). We hold a valid PAN and tax exemption status. Our legal documents and annual reports are available on request.
